There are many young people especially those in the 25-35 age range and those who are illiterate. Additionally, 65% of persons sought testing due to symptoms. I think the community might benefit from educational programs that teach about the disease, promote safer sex, provide culturally appropriate barrier methods (e.g., condoms). Regular free testing drives at local popular sites (e.g., market) can be carried out to help healthcare providers reach more persons who are infected but unaware. Testing could be a collaborative effort between testing centers and treatment facilities so that the newly diagnosed patient leaves with information on how to go forth.
