I'm somewhat surprised that B-actin and GADPH were unable to be used as internal expression controls. Can the authors spectulate for what reason this could happen in the single cell level. If authors show these two gene's expression in say an average of 20 cells in both T cell and neutrophi, are they have unpredictable Ct level.
