Wouldn't people who work with captive cetaceans and wild cetaceans know best?
Given I spend a great deal of time working with animals in pools, lagoons, sea pens and wild environments, wouldn't you expect that I might have a perspective here? In fact as someone who flies drones over managed cetaceans as part of system development for wild blow capture I have intimate knowledge of the difficulties associated with getting cetaceans to go into large spaces. Perhaps you want to address the concerns of people who know a lot about this rather than implicitly impugn said authors or glaze over their concerns. Can you please address the specific concerns highlighted in those papers? If you did people would feel a lot better about you having belugas in your sanctuary.
