"K02003 is the ABC (ATP binding cassette) transporter, and bacteria genomes encoding this protein showed a higher relative abundance in the healthy environment in comparison to either the adenoma or the colorectal environment."
- K02003 is a very large family (almost 5000 entries) of proteins classified as "putative ABC transport system ATP-binding protein" in very diverse membrane transport complexes. It seems to me that treating this item as a simple enzyme is VERY reductive.
- K02003 does not show "a higher relative abundance in the healthy environment in comparison to either the adenoma or the colorectal environment" in the picture, rather healthy = adenoma > cancer (also supported by the significance indicators on top of the bars).
