Would this reseach be able to include collision avoidance with wind turbines
Viewed 11 times

In South Africa our raptor population is being devastated by collisions with wind turbine blades. The wind turbines are the rally for clean energy in the face of coal based energy pollution but their effect on the local ecology is extremely negative. I can provide photographic evidence of the effect on the raptor population. The problem is that there is very little funding for the type of work being done at Purdue University and South Africans in avian ecology would be most grateful if your researchers could expand their scope of work to include wind turbines in particular.
