This paper is timely for me, as I'd just started thinking about Markdown-on-GitHub as the format for a future paper. But when I went to check on the status of scholarlymarkdown.com I found it looking rather abandoned: for example, the home page says "This [...] is essentially a draft copy for a much more complete site, which will be launched somewhere around fall 2015"

Are the authors of this paper involved in that website? If so, can they comment on its apparent stagnation? (Or, better yet, fix it?)
