Comment on Type I rhodopsins in Chytrids

It should be mentioned that multiple Chytrid genomes contain genes coding for Type I rhodopsins fused to guanylate cyclase (similar to those found in Allomyces and Blastocladiella). But, not in Spizellomyces and Batrachochytrium, for some reason. Do the authors believe that Type I and Type II rhodopsins may co-exist in Chytrids? Or do some of them have Type I and some Type II only?
