Where is the DH44 receptor localized in mosquito Malpighian tubules?

In the legend to Figure S5, we indicate that the cellular/membrane localization of the DH44 receptor is not known in mosquito Malpighian tubules, which is accurate for culicine mosquitoes, but not for anopheline mosquitoes. The DH44 receptor has been localized in the Malpighian tubules of larval and adult Anopheles gambiae by Overend et al 2015. The receptors localize to the basolateral membrane of principal cells.
