PeerJ 3:e828 https://dx.doi.org/10.7717/peerj.828) investigating and modeling the relationship between web page complexity, usability, task performance, and cognitive load. Surprisingly the Rigutti, Fantoni & Gerbino Peerj work is neither cited nor discussed throughout the paper. I believe that this is a missed occasion to include in the paper an interesting topic of discussion.
