Maximum body size in extinct marine taxa

Is there an equivalent study planned for the extinct oceans giants (C. megalodon, ichthyosaurs, pliosaurs, basal physeteroids...) ?

That Physeter may have reached 24 m actually means it represents the largest marine macrophagous carnivore known to science or were there larger extinct aquatic carnivores ?
