Summary

I am a field marine biologist and conservationist in my heart, but experimental, molecular and evolutionary biologist by trained with broad experience in sequencing technologies. My research interests lie with genomic evolution, phylogenetics and parasitic co-evolutionary histories of vertebrates (e.g. marine turtles and birds). Moreover, I have gained broad experience on virus characterisation, detection and discovery.

Evolutionary genomics and marine biology with broad experience in sequencing technologies and molecular co-evolutionary process analysis. My research interests lie with genomic evolution, phylogenetics and parasitic co-evolutionary histories of vertebrates (e.g. sea turtles and birds) with viruses; as well as virus characterisation, detection and discovery.
