Summary

Roberto holds a degree in Civil Engineering gained in 2008 at the Genoa University with a final year dissertation project related to hydraulic engineering and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). He continued his education by accomplishing a Ph.D. in Geosciences at the University of Lausanne. During his Ph.D. studies, he was also working at the Institute of Earth Sciences (SUPSI) of Lugano. Since January 2012, he is coordinator of GIS sector in Gter srl spin-off of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Genoa. Roberto is also developer of Open source GIS Software (GRASS and QGIS), and author of various publications in the geomatics field. He has also participated in numerous training GIS seminars organized by Gter and University (USI, SUPSI, UNIGE).
