Summary

Ph.D. in Behavioral Ecology from University of Sheffield (2004). Has experience in Zoology, focusing on Animal Behavior. He is Professor of Ethology at the Department of Experimental Psychology, Institute of Psychology, University of São Paulo, after being Lecturer in Animal Behaviour at the Université Paris 13, Sorbonne Paris Cité, France. He works on the behaviour of social hymenoptera, focusing on cooperation and conflict, recognition, chemical ecology, evolution of communication, intraspecific parasitism, reproductive strategies. Since 2016, he is President of the Graduate Program in Experimental Psychology at USP.
