Her experience focuses on Conservation and Management of terrestrial vertebrates, Ecology Restoration and Molecular Ecology.
She is consultant for CONABIO, CONANP and DGVS- SEMARNAT. She has participated in the creation of environmental laws, including the law of Zoos and NOM-059, the last one related to endangered species,
She has trained several generations of biologists in the area of Ecology and Conservation Biology with focus on environmental management. She has been participated with the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Coordinating the Network of Educators and Practitioners Conservation in Mexico , also participating in some international scientific committes as TRILATERAL and CITES.
