Summary

I am a marine ecologist whose research focuses primarily on the ecology, conservation and management of marine fishes and their habitats. Studies are conducted to understand how differences in habitat influence the abundance, distribution and diversity of fish populations and communities; the role of species interactions influencing community dynamics; the ecological effects of fishing; and the role that marine protected areas can play in conservation and sustainable use.
