Dear Profs Özgür and Erdem
Thank you for this needed too rare review. It is sobering that we may be basing security research directions and conclusions on a dataset which is hopelessly outdated (in practically every way). In my humble opinion it is dangerous to the science of security, this lack of foundational corpus or worse, stale foundational corpus which may mislead. I will add some results of your paper to the next version of https://peerj.com/preprints/2402v1/ (see lines 124-127 and 159-176)
I am submitting new version of this article to a journal. In the mean time, I created python scripts and bibliography file for reproduciblity. I put these to following github repo
New version will have 215 research articles from 91 journals indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded.
I decided to drop Emerging Index in new version.
