MetaLink-Protocol: a detailed description

This Dataset provides the complete submission of an Informational Internet-Draft "Request For Comment" to the Internet Engineering Task Force. In accordance with their rules, it was posted on the Web and then removed after a fixed interval. This description fits the MetaLink-Protocol of the PrePrint, with a few terminology changes that are listed on the first page preceding the document.
