Now that Steneosaurus obtusidens is now renamed Lemmysuchus, "Steneosaurus" megarhinus should be entered into the data matrix for Johnson et al. (2017) to test the phylogenetic hypothesis by Mueller-Towe (2005) that S. megarhinus and S. pictavensis are closely related to Teleosaurus. In any case, an appropriate generic name for S. megarhinus would be Kimmerosuchus ("Kimmeridge Bay crocodile").
