Summary

I am a tropical community ecologist. I am studying the ecology and conservation of snakes and chelonians in rainforests and mangroves of Nigeria and Togo. My research focuses on projects at the interface between petrochemical industry and forest ecosystem, particularly in the Niger Delta. I also work on reptiles of Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso, mammals of the Niger Delta, and rodent macroecology worldwide. As a professor of ecology, I spend some of my time also teaching and giving lectures
