Summary

Born in Cabras on the 16th March 1981, was awarded his PhD degree in “Ecology and management of biological resources” at the University of Tuscia (Viterbo) and is currently holder of a research fellowship at the IAMC-CNR of Oristano (Marine Ecology and Conservation group). He obtained a Research Master of Science from the University of Sassari, where he obtained a degree in Natural Science – Curriculum: Marine. He has taken part to several national and international research projects on the effects of Marine Protected Areas on the fish fauna, benthic community and small scale fisheries. His research is focused on the feeding ecology of the Loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) exploring its implications for the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (Descriptor 10 - Litter/biota interaction).
