Mario Moura has a background in natural history, landscape ecology and macroecology. He is interested in understanding the relationships between diversity patterns of terrestrial vertebrates and environmental gradients. He extends his work to biodiversity conservation, particularly identifying impacts of climate and land use change on Neotropical amphibians and reptiles.
