Summary
I use a combination of morphology and DNA sequence data to investigate patterns of biodiversity in spider communities. My work in spider taxonomy follows an open access cybertaxonomic model. In addition to traditional publications, elements of my taxonomic work are distributed online to an assortment of databases and resources. With primary data aggregated according to community standards, it becomes possible to reuse and recombine data without restrictions.
