Leonardo de O Martins

I did my undergrad in Molecular Sciences and Masters in Biotechnology at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Moved to Japan in 2003 with a Mombusho scholarship, to do my PhD at the Univeristy of Tokyo. There I worked with Hirohisa Kishino on phylogenetic detection of recombination. Now I work in Spain with David Posada, where we develop statistical methods to reconstruct and test the evolutionary history of genomes.
