Summary
I have worked in bioinformatics since 1993 when I completed a MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Manchester. Following this I went on to study genome evolution as part of my PhD. I've sinced worked in various bioinformatics roles and related fields: database development and support, sys admin, web site management and have now returned to the research field.
Along the way I've learned one constant: your hard drive is never big enough.
