I lead a $2M/year international networking program that supports transoceanic networks to Europe, Japan, and China, as well as end user advocacy. Prior to this, I was a program officer at the US National Science Foundation (NSF), where I jointly led programs in deployed networks, geoscience data, distributed systems, and pragmatic software. My research focuses on end-to-end performance prediction and user requirements gathering, primarily in distributed systems with relation to large data use.
