The University of Sheffield is committed to the principles of open access to research outputs in order to ensure that its world-class research is available as widely as possible to maximize its impact within both the academic research community and more widely within society

The University has a block grant from the Research Councils UK and is using this to cover the cost of PeerJ articles for RCUK funded authors. If your publication is funded in whole or part by RCUK, the University will pay the PeerJ publication fee for University of Sheffield RCUK funded authors, providing the funding has been acknowledged on your paper.
