The University of Bristol supports the underlying principle of Open Access to research publications in line with its world-standing for research excellence and its mission to maximise the global visibility and impact of its research findings.

The University has received a block grant from RCUK to pay for Open Access and has deposited some of this with PeerJ. If you are a University of Bristol researcher and your research was wholly or partially funded by RCUK, you are eligible to use this fund to become a PeerJ member at the Basic or Enhanced level.

When your article has been accepted for publication, Bristol affiliated authors should return to this page to submit a claim for a Membership and complete the email verification.

If you are submitting a paper to PeerJ, please ensure you acknowledge any funders and their award numbers in the paper.
