The University of Reading is ranked in the top 1% of universities in the world and enjoys a world-class reputation for teaching, research and enterprise. The University is committed to publishing the results of its research in the highest quality journals, and strongly believes that its research outputs should be made as widely available as possible.

In order to encourage our authors to make their articles available on open access, the University has set up an institutional publication plan with PeerJ, which is available for articles arising from any source of funding, to provide Basic Memberships for authors.

When your article is accepted for publication in PeerJ, Reading affiliated authors should return to this page to submit a claim for a Basic Membership and complete the email verification. Please note that our plan only covers Reading authors.

*If you are taking the membership route, all authors of an accepted article must have a paid membership: https://peerj.com/pricing/#apc-membership-pricing.
