Summary

My official beginnings of dabbling in Marine Biology started in Borneo in 2003, where I learnt to dive and survey the reefs in the area. I then did my undergraduate degree in Marine Biology and Zoology at Bangor, University of Wales, graduating with a 1st class honors degree in 2007. I then went straight on to do my PhD. at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand on sponge ecology at Palmyra Atoll and now I'm doing my Post-doc on landscape genomics in the ToBo lab at the HIMB in Hawaii.
