I have been trained as a virologist at the university of Hong Kong under supervision of Dr. Leo Poon, Dr. Beatrice Nal and Dr. Malik Peiris, and finished my PhD in 2012 on influenza virus cell biology research. Since then I joined Dr. Bali Pulendran lab to work on the immunological mechanisms understanding how the empirically successful yellow fever vaccine (YF-17D) works and how to apply such insights in future vaccine development.
