Haider Mahmood
Summary
Dr. Haider Mahmood is currently a Professor of Economics at the Department of Finance, College of Business Administration, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Alkharj, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Economics in 2012. During 2012-2015, he has also served as Assistant Professor at Government College University and COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore, Pakistan. He is serving as Associate Editor in Frontiers in Environmental Sciences (Specialty section Environmental Economics and Management), Associate Editor in Journal of Sustainable Agricultural Sciences, Review Editor in Frontiers in Environmental Economics, and Member Editorial Board of Mediterranean Journal of Agribusiness and Applied Economics and Bulletin of Business and Economics. He made over 150 peer-reviewed research papers (h-index = 50; i10-index = 153; July 2024). He has been funded by various funding agencies and has worked on seven projects as Principal Investigator and five projects as a co-investigator. Currently, he is majorly working in the research area of Energy and Environmental Economics (focused on macroeconomic determinants of pollution emissions and energy consumption). Moreover, he has also published in the research area of International Economics and Macroeconomics.
