Giulio Spinozzi
Summary
Giulio Spinozzi was born November 23, 1985 in Assisi (Italy). He received the first degree in Computer Engineering and Electronics, then the Master of Science in Computer and Automation Engineering, at the University of the Studies of Perugia. His research interests are directed primarily to information technology, automatic controls and Systems Biology. In computer science is interested in operating systems in general, but especially those UNIX-based, the OpenSource world and the creation and management of websites, static and dynamic. Interest in monitoring is oriented robotics, process control and automation in all its forms, especially in the field of micro-controllers. He began to study and research in Systems Biology through the university training of Master of Science in Computer Science and Automation. He Started the work activity in 2008 as an intern at the computer company Sintesi srl, which ends with the intake project contract until June 2009. He received the PhD in Computer Science, at the University of Milano-Bicocca in March 2017. He currently holds the position of bioinformatics engineer (PostDoc) at San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy and at University of Perugia (Department of Medicine, Hematology). The main research activities are focused on Data Management, System Information, Systems Biology and Bioinformatics. Specialist in bioinformatic pipeline development and NGS data analysis (CRISPR/CAS9, DNA and RNA sequencing).
