Summary

After completing my PhD at the George Washington University with advisor Francys Subiaul on the topic of social learning (with children, orangutans at the National Zoo, and adults at the University of Nottingham), I took up a postdoctoral position at the University of Stirling with Christine Caldwell. There I worked with children, capuchin and squirrel monkeys, and chimpanzees to study cumulative cultural evolution. My second postdoc was a study of the development of empathy in infants with Zanna Clay at Durham University. I am an incoming lecturer at Northumbria University (2023).
