Since 2002, she has been a Senior Medical Assistant at the Regional Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.
Since 2014, she is a full-time Professor in the disciplinary field MED26 (Neurology).
In February 2017, she became Director of the "Center for diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis" located at the Binaghi Hospital (ATS Sardegna / University of Cagliari).
In March 2017, she obtained the national scientific qualification for Professor of the (ordinary) class in the disciplinary field MED26 (Neurology).
Since 2002, she has been teaching in several degree programs (medicine and surgery, physiotherapy, health care) and in specialized schools in neurology, neurophysiopathology, infantile neuropsychiatry, physiatry and emergency medicine.
She received the Marco Vergelli award in 2001 and the Rita Levi Montalcini award in 2008 - both for her research on multiple sclerosis research.
