The MSW ‘15 will take place from May 18th to 22nd, 2015 in Oristano, Italy. It is a triennial meeting for discussions on every aspect of biology, ecology, management and conservation of Mediterranean seagrasses. The MSW aims to highlight the results of current research and discuss issues related to the management and conservation of marine and coastal environments of the Mediterranean.
This is the first time it has been held in Italy and the host committee is from two Mediterranean institutions: IMC - International Marine Centre of Oristano (Italy) and Seagrass 2000 (France). Partners in the organization of the MSW ’15 are Regional Activity Centre for Specially Protected Areas (RAC/SPA), Tunis (Tunisia), International Union for Conservation of Nature - Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation (IUCN-Med), Malaga (Spain), Marine Protected Area Penisola del Sinis - Isola di Mal di Ventre, Cabras (Italy), Italian Society of Marine Biology - SIBM (Italy), Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn, Naples (Italy).
