InCoB (the International Conference on Bioinformatics) is the annual conference of the Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet). Organized since 2002, InCoB has grown to become one of the largest bioinformatics conferences in the Asia-Pacific region.
This annual conference showcases the latest research and technologies in all areas of bioinformatics, and in recent years has been attended by practitioners from both biology and computing in the Asia-Pacific region. Conference papers will appear in journals, such as BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Systems Biology, BMC Genomics and PeerJ.
The 13th International Conference on Bioinformatics (InCoB2014) was held for the first time in Australia, at the Novotel, Brighton Beach in Sydney, 31 July-2 August, 2014. The conference theme was “Translational Bioinformatics” and this Collection represents a sample of the bioinformatics activity from the Asia-Pacific region.
