Over the past few months we have been hard at work on a new design for the peerj.com site navigation and we are happy to announce that it’s now available for all logged in users.
To enable the new design please log out and then log back in to peerj.com.
The new user interface is part of our commitment to ensuring PeerJ keeps up to date with the latest web technology and accessibility standards. The redesign of the site navigation is the first step towards a complete refresh of the PeerJ site in line with these goals.
Things to look out for in the new interface:
- A redesigned top navigation bar.
- A new left toolbar for article navigation (replacing the ‘My Manuscripts’ link) with a new tool that remembers submissions you’ve worked on, and provides quick links to important pages.
- A new right toolbar that displays (depending on context): notifications, search, article filters or profile management links.
The redesign is in beta so there may be some small bugs. If you spot any issues please email communities@peerj.com.
