Dr. Ibrahim Birma Bwatanglang has been working as a lecturer in the department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Adamawa State University Mubi, Nigeria since 2013. Head several responsibilities including Chair, Faculty Business Committee of the Institution. He obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry and M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. Dr. IBB further obtained a Master’s Degree in Business administration (MBA) from Adamawa State University and a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He has more than 20 research papers and 7 book chapters. His research interest includes the synthesis of functional nano-biopolymers for sustainable environment and biomedical applications. Other interests includes health-based environmental risk assessment, bioremediation, and sustainability. Dr. IBB cardinal objectives as an environmentalist is to convert waste into resources and reengineered materials for sustainable environment and human health.
