Savas Okyay
Summary
Savas Okyay was born in Eskisehir, Türkiye in 1989. He completed his computer engineering undergraduate education at Eskisehir Osmangazi University (ESOGU) in 2013. He had the highest grade point average in the department and was a high honor student. He received his M.Sc. degree in computer science from Anadolu University (AU) in 2016. He worked full-time for a private sector company as a system engineer for more than a year until 2014. He has been working as a research assistant at ESOGU since 2014 and received his Ph.D. degree from Eskisehir Technical University (ESTU) in 2023. His research interests include recommender systems, machine learning, and parallel computing.
