Summary

Fahmid Al Farid is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) by research in information technology at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. He received the B.S. degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, in 2011, and the M.S. degree from the faculty of computer science and electrical engineering, University of Ulsan (UOU), South Korea, in 2015. From 2013 to 2014, he was a Research Assistant in the Embedded System Laboratory at the University of Ulsan, South Korea. In 2015, he was a Research Assistant at the Ubiquitous Computing Technology Research Institute (UTRI), Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. He received the Korean BK21 PLUS Scholarship, supported by the Korean government in MS (2012-2014). He also received an ICT fellowship from the Bangladesh government in 2014. His current research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Algorithm Design, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, Image, and Video Analysis, Power Generation, Green Technology.
