Dr. Ashad Kabir is the Deputy Leader in Data Mining Research Group and a Senior Lecturer in Computing at Charles Sturt University, Australia. He has more than ten years of teaching and research experience in a number of universities including Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Deakin University (Australia), Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), University of Nantes (France), Pusan National University (South Korea), University of Chittagong (Bangladesh) and Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Bangladesh). Over the years, Dr. Kabir has been involved in a number of projects from different industries/institutions, including Rolls-Royce (Singapore), Samsung (South Korea), INRIA (France), and Computer Associate (Australia). Dr. Kabir received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Kabir has also been invited to visit the University of Toronto (Canada), Texas A&M University - Kingsville (USA), and King Abdul-Aziz University (Saudi Arabia) as a Guest speaker/Keynote speaker/Visiting Researcher. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
