Summary

Nor Azan Mat Zin received her Ph.D. in Information Science in 2005 and currently is a Professor (Interactive computing) in Research Centre for Software Technology and Management (SOFTAM), Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is the Head of Games lab and Multimedia Software and Usability Research Group. Her areas of specialisation include serious games, HCI (Accessibility) and E-learning Technology. She is the principal researcher in 18 and co- researchers in 19 grants. She has published 77 articles in indexed journals, authored 3 books and 12 book chapters besides 93 articles in conference proceedings. She has also given keynote and invited talks in several conferences. Her current research involves heritage and education domains. Her passion is in community-based research where she strongly believes that technology should be beneficial to people besides driving value-based human development.
