Summary

Karthi Balasubramanian received the Bachelor of Technology degree from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (formerly known as Delhi Institute of Technology), New Delhi, India in 1999 and M.A.Sc degree from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, Canada in 2002. Later in 2016, he obtained his doctorate degree from Amrita University for his work on 'A new complexity measure for time series analysis and classification'. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor at Amrita University. Prior to joining the university, he has experience working as a chip design engineer at companies like Cogent Chipware Inc. and PMC-Sierra. His areas of interest include chip design, signal processing, machine learning and complex systems.
