Full Professor Francisco José García-Peñalvo received his bachelor’s degree in computing from the University of Valladolid (Spain), and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Salamanca, where he is currently the Head of the Research Group in Interaction and e-Learning (GRIAL). His main research interests focus on eLearning, computers and education and digital ecosystems. He is the Editor in Chief of the Education in the Knowledge Society journal and the Journal of Information Technology Research. He coordinates the Doctoral Program in Education in the Knowledge Society.
