Summary
Expert researcher, computer scientist, and software engineer with over 13 years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience at the university level. A distinguished record of publications in highly reputed academic journals. Commitment to helping university students develop their full potential in their studies. Have diverse knowledge to teach with the help of inductive/deductive teaching methods. Have commitment and motivation to help students in developing their expertise in areas like software engineering, interaction design, and related specific areas. I have targeted my research work in interactive computing and HCI to overcome some of the basic issues of the underprivileged community of Pakistan i.e., the non-literate population. My research work is one of the earliest research and design works on the topics such as the utilization of effective and efficient use of ICTs by the non-literate population. Furthermore, I am one of the top 10 most cited researchers in “interactive computing” research and one of the top 200 most cited researchers in the usability research area. Usability is a non-functional and quality requirement for software systems. It is one of the most important quality attributes that should be accommodated in the software for a better user experience (UX).
