Karl F. MacDorman is an associate professor in the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University. He was previously an associate professor at the School of Engineering at Osaka University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cambridge University in 1997 and his bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1988. He has published more than 100 papers on human–robot interaction, machine learning, and cognitive science.
