Lieven Billiet
Summary
Lieven Billiet obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering from the KU Leuven in 2010, with a focus on electrical engineering and computer science. He subsequently obtained a master's degree in computer science at KU Leuven, with a one-year stay at KTH Stockholm in Sweden in 2012. He obtained a master's degree in biomedical technology engineering in 2014, in a dual study at KU Leuven and Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). Since then, he is working as a PhD candidate at KU Leuven. His research focuses on interpretable data-driven (clinical) decision support and activity recognition and assessment using wearable sensors.
