Summary

RUSTAM MUSSABAYEV was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in 1984. He received an engineering degree in software engineering from the Satbayev Kazakh National Technical University (Satbayev University) in 2006 and a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Satbayev University in 2009. From 2009 he worked in the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies as Senior Researcher, Head of the Laboratory of Informational Processes Analysis and Modelling. In 2021, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. He is the author of one book, more than 60 articles, and the Leading Researcher of five research projects. His research interests include data science, operations research, natural language processing, speech synthesis and recognition, machine learning.

The main activities of the laboratory are the development of algorithms, methods and software systems for the solution of the following problems: 1) Analysis and modeling of information processes; 2) Digital signal processing; 3) Automatic synthesis of the speech by text; 4) Automatic speech recognition; 5) Automatic processing of text data and extraction of knowledge from texts; 6) Realization of computer vision systems.
