Prof. Dr. Hala I. Al-Jaber is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. She is a member of national and international scientific and professional organizations including the Jordanian Chemical Society (JCS) and the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Her research interests include isolation and structural elucidation of constituents of medicianl and aromatic plants using different techniques and evaluation of their biological acttivities and ethnopharmacology in addition to organic synthesis (heterocylic and seconday metabolies). Prof. Al-Jaber was and still involved in research projects funded by Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU), The University of Jordan (JU), Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) and Scientific Research Support Fund (SRF)-Ministry of higher education and Scientific Research-Jordan.
