Professor Guoqin Huang obtained
his PhD from Nanjing Agricultural University and his postdoctoral certificate from Nanjing Institute
of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He visited Georgia University (USA), York University (UK), Australia,and New Zealand, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and other countries and regions as a visiting scholar and a senior visiting scholar. Currently he is the chief professor and director of the Research Center of Ecological Sciences at Jiangxi Agricultural University. He is also the executive director of the Chinese Society of Ecology and the Chinese Society of Ecological Economics, and the director of the Ecological Economics Association and the Ecological Sciences Association in Jiangxi Province. He is a recognized expert in farming systems, agroecology, and sustainable agricultural development.
